Difference of Squares Activity Instructions

  • Cut one square, out of a corner or your big square (you choose the dimensions of your little square)
  • Discard the little square
  • In what you have remaining, make one cut, so that the pieces will fit together to make a rectangle
  • When I ask your group, let me know the dimensions of your little square, and your rectangle
